Dental prosthetics is a field of dental medicine which substitutes lost teeth, corrects existing teeth - improves function and aesthetic appearance of teeth, as well as quality of your life.
1.ALL - CERAMIC - These crowns are fabricated using porcelain or "engineered" dental ceramic. Some of these materials are known for their superior aesthetics, others for their strength (unfortunately none for both).
2. PORCELAIN - FUSED - TO - METAL (PFM) - A hybrid construction type where a porcelain covering encases a metal substructure. These crows can provide both aesthetic and strength.
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap - these two or more anchoring teeth are abutment teeth - and a false tooth/teeth in between.
Partial dentures are used for compensation of more teeth in the event that it is impossible to draw a bridge. Prosthesis can be completely made of acrylate or of a metal skeleton that are inserted acrylate and teeth.
Complete denture compensated the lack of teeth and tissue in complete toothless.
